Utah is about to get Dirty!

The Dirty Dash returns to Utah for the second time this year

July 28, 2016

On September 17, 2016, The Dirty Dash, a Sack Lunch Productions, Inc.
Mud-drenched participants can run, walk, jog, or crawl through this dirty 5K at Soldier Hollow.

This year, in honor of its fifth anniversary, The Dirty Dash brings more mud, new obstacles and one-of-a-kind participant medals.

“The Utah Spring Dirty Dash took place on May 4th,  and was an extremely successful event ”, said John Malfatto, Dirty Dash co-owner. “Over 4,400 participants enjoyed one of the dirtiest days of their lives, and we’re thrilled to bring the event back to Utah in September.”

The Dirty Dash is the friendliest 5K around.  It stands by its theory that running is already torture enough, and designed the filthy run to be a fun course for everyone.  People of all ages and fitness levels tackle the mud-drenched obstacles at their own pace, and have the choice to avoid the trickier obstacles altogether.

“People come for the mud,” said Malfatto. “If there is one thing we have learned over the past few years, it is that our participants aren’t looking for an intense workout.  They want to live their childhood dreams of getting down and dirty in the biggest mud pits they have ever seen.”

Online registration for The Dirty Dash – Utah Fall is open.  Participants are encouraged to sign up at http://www.thedirtydash.com/location/utah-fall/.  You can also see what fans have to say on the Dirty Dash Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TheDirtyDash.
