• U.S. Flag Code: Worn and torn American Flags should be properly disposed of by fire.
• Those who have flags unfit to display may drop them off at their local Fire Department.
• In a solemn and spectacular ceremony, hundreds of flags no longer worthy to be flown will be retired.
