Free Fish Day
Layton City in partnership with Kays Creek Irrigation Company and the Division of Wildlife Resources are excited to announce the grand opening of the Andy Adams Date: Saturday, June 2, 2012
Time: 10:00am - Noon
Location: Andy Adams Community Fishery
1800 E Gordon Ave, Layton
Community Fishery. The Fishery is located at Andy Adams Reservoir, 1800 East Gordon Ave. The grand opening will be held on Saturday, June 2 in conjunction with the State of Utah’s Free Fish Day. Families are invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:00am then stay for free fishing and other activities including fishing contests, a fish fry and prizes!
Following the grand opening, the Community Fishery will be open daily and is subject to all Division of Wildlife Resources fishing laws and regulations. The Fishery has been stocked with both Bullhead Channel Cat Fish and Rainbow Trout. There have been over 10,500 total fish stocked in the reservoir since fall of 2011. The Fishery’s daily bag and possession limit is a combined total of two fish which is standard state law for community fishing waters.
