Fall is upon us and it’s easy to put on your warm hoodie, eat a yummy bowl of creamy hot soup, and snuggle in a warm blanket on the couch to watch a football game. Like the grizzly bear we all tend to go into our personal hibernation and it doesnt usually look good in the Spring. So this Fall we encourage you to find new ways to keep warm. At the SportsPlex, we have a variety of equipment, cutting edge group fitness classes, personal training, group training, Knock Out Athletics (“KOA”) and all sorts of things to keep you warm the healthier way!

Skinny Buffalo Dip

 

1/2 cup Light Kraft Mayonnaise

7 oz plain greek yogurt

2 TBSP buffalo sauce

1/4 to 1/2 tsp garlic powder

a small handful of blue cheese (optional)

Mix together the mayo, greek yogurt, and buffalo sauce.  Slowly add the garlic powder, starting with 1/4 tsp and adding a little more at a time until you reach the desired taste.

Top with blue cheese and serve with cut veggies.

  • Our 30-60-90 Weight Loss Challenge is in full swing. Last week we had a group total of 250 pounds lost.  We are thrilled to see so many people making changes and honored to be a part of the journey. 
  • We are committed to your health and fitness and encourage you to take one step towards your wellness by joining us for a free nutrition seminar on October 22, 2017 at 7:30pm.
  • We are joining forces with CrossFit 22 from WoodsCross to host “FIGHT LIKE A GIRL” breast cancer awareness event On October 25th. It begins at 7:30am and will go until 11:30am with a workout every 30 minutes. Sign up at Knock Out Athletics “KOA”, behind the soccer field, and receive a t-shirt! 
  • The SportsPlex will host a costume contest on October 31, please stay tuned for details.
