Meet the Mormons

in theatres 10/10/14

October 30, 2014

I took my family last week to Station Park to see Meet the Mormons. It's always great to be inspired by people who are trying to live good lives.
The whole family liked it!

Meet the Mormons examines the very diverse lives of six devout members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Filmed on location and across the globe, Meet the Mormons takes viewers on a journey into the day-to-day realities of individuals living in the U.S., Costa Rica, Nepal and beyond. From their individual passions to their daily struggles, each story paints a picture as rich and unique as the next while challenging the stereotypes that surround the Mormon faith.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) will donate all net proceeds* from the theatrical release of Meet the Mormons to the American Red Cross.

The Red Cross and the LDS Church have worked together to help people in need for nearly 100 years. During World War I, the Women’s Relief Society of the church joined with Red Cross as they participated in food production and conservation, fund drives, sanitation, child welfare work, and other service. The Relief Society also collaborated with the Red Cross in the early 1900’s when more than 10,000 Relief Society sisters completed Red Cross courses in home nursing, first aid, and nutrition.
