The Miracle Worker at Centerpoint Theatre

January 29, 2015
The inaugural show of our 2015 season, The Miracle Worker, is a play based on the true story of Helen Keller and her teacher Annie Sullivan.  Written by William Gibson, this inspiring play first appeared on Broadway in 1959. In Alabama during the late 1800’s, Helen is left blind and deaf by a childhood illness—and trapped in a dark, silent world.
Can Annie reach her to give her a voice?
