Utah Symphony at Snowbasin Resort July 1

June 23, 2016

Join Snowbasin Resort and the Ogden Symphony Ballet Association as they present the Utah Symphony in a patriotic evening of symphony music under the stars!

Conductor Jerry Steichen will lead the orchestra in a patriotic celebration featuring Broadway star Doug LaBreque performing all your red, white, and blue favorites at 8:00pm on Friday, July 1st at beautiful Snowbasin Resort. All proceeds will benefit the Ogden Symphony Ballet Association.

The Utah Symphony will perform in front of a beautiful backdrop of the Ogden Valley and Earl’s Lodge. The venue will open at 5:00pm. Arrive early for best seating options. The performance length will be approximately two hours with a 20-minute intermission.

Earl’s Lodge will have food and drinks available starting at 5:30pm.

The special Symphony menu includes slow-roasted New York strip loin, grilled salmon filet, roasted chicken, sliced meats and cheese tray, and more. Riverton Music’s Petting Zoo will be on site prior to the performance to encourage children to touch, play, and explore many different musical instruments. Introduce your children to the wonderful world of music by exploring the musical petting zoo and experiencing the Utah Symphony performance.

This exciting performance in a picturesque setting will benefit a local non-profit, the Ogden Symphony Ballet Association (OSBA). The OSBA provides symphony and ballet tickets to local community programs and schools, providing the opportunity for local residents and students who couldn’t otherwise enjoy the rich cultural experience of a symphony or ballet performance.

Tickets for the Utah Symphony at Snowbasin Resort are $20 for general admission lawn seating, $5 for youth 11 and under, and $40 for preferred VIP seating (chairs provided) if purchased in advance.
Ticket prices will increase the day of the performance. VIP seating includes passed hors d’ourves for 15 minutes before the performance as well as seating up front closest to the stage.

Tickets can be purchased online at snowbasin.com, in person at the OSBA ticket office Monday - Friday or at Snowbasin Resort on Saturdays and Sundays starting June 11th. No outside food or beverages are allowed in the venue.
