The scariest time of the year is right around the corner. Quite honestly, we're not sure what's scarier: the goblins and ghosts or the bags of candy!
We fully realize that none of us would stoop so low as to steal candy from our kids bags or sneak extra treats from the Halloween party, but just in case we've provided some great tips on resisting or moderating these treats!

Here are a couple of tips to help you get through your Halloween Parties:

1- Don't skip meals. Before leaving for a party, eat a light snack like raw vegetables or a piece of fruit to curb your appetite. You will be less tempted to over-indulge.

2- Survey party buffets before filling your plate. Choose your favorite foods and skip your least favorite. Include vegetables and fruits to keep your plate balanced.

3- Eat until you are satisfied, not stuffed. Savor your favorite holiday treats while eating small portions. Sit down, get comfortable, and enjoy.

4- Bring your own healthy dish.

5- Hide your children's candy bags :)
